A Walk in the Park

Alistair and I hopped a train from Inverness, just outside of Oakly (the small village where the Birleys reside) to Edinburgh. Once in Edinburgh we strolled through a park on our way to the Natural Museum of Scotland. As we meandered I felt transported, as if walking within an Impressionist painting and hadn't notice the castle on the hill until Alistair pointed it out. Wow! Nothing like a 500 year old building to bring me back to the present!
